JOOUST, through its Belgium-funded VLIR IUC (Institutional University Cooperation) Project, is hosting a dedicated team from the University of Antwerp. This partnership, which is part of Sub-Project 5, is focused on advancing research and practical solutions for climate change mitigation and adaptation.

During their 5-day mission, the team will assess the progress of PhD students working under Sub-Project 5, reinforcing the commitment to strengthening research capacity and driving impactful climate change studies.

As a key part of the collaboration, the University will also install three automatic weather stations within the transects of the project site, which will provide invaluable data for ongoing research on climate patterns and environmental changes.

This partnership exemplifies the power of international collaboration in tackling one of the most pressing global challenges of our time.
