JOOUST hosts the VLIR-IUC Stakeholders’ Dissemination Meeting in Kisumu, bringing together stakeholders from the Ministry of Health, Kisumu County Department of Health, Sub-County Health Management Teams, facility in-charges, healthcare workers, community health promoters, patients, and implementing NGOs. The dissemination meeting was led by PhD researcher Japheth Ogol. It provided a platform to showcase key research findings on diabetes and hypertension care in primary healthcare facilities. It discussed the way forward, reflected on evidence-based interventions, and strengthened collaboration for improved health outcomes. The forum introduced the Early Detection, Referral, and Outcome Optimization (EDRO) Project (2026–2031), funded by VLIR-UOS. This underscores JOOUST’s commitment to translating research into impactful policies and sustainable healthcare solutions. Shaping a healthier future through research, innovation, and partnerships.
