SHORT BIO

My name is Ivy Akinyi. An early career researcher with great passion for cervical cancer treatement and prevention. I hold a Bsc in Medical Lab Science with a Master in Epidemiology. My current project is hinged on understanding the diversity of HPV in lake Victoria Basin. I am more keen on HPV 16 and would love to establish its genetic variant. This is core in understanding cervical oncogenesis.
